For long term stays, guests may dispose of their waste at the waste management drop-off site located in Fairplay. Keep in mind that this home is surrounded by nature. The area is home to a variety of wildlife, including bears, deer, elk, antelope, bobcats, and coyotes. During bear season (April through November), it’s especially important to keep vehicle doors locked at all times, as bears are known to open cars in search of food. For everyone’s safety, do not leave any food or trash outdoors, as bears have an incredibly strong sense of smell and can detect scents from miles away.
